We believe there is an audience for books about Scotland that are serious, challenging, and engaging.
Our Vision
At all times North House Press will engage with, challenge and seek to expand our understanding of Scottish culture in its broadest sense – and will engage with readers and writers both directly, through a series of exciting events and activities across the Highlands and throughout Scotland, as well as through bookshops and festivals, direct sales, ongoing newsletters and communications. Our launch list in 2026 is a publishing programme of four to six exciting books, focusing on finding new ways to present established authors and new writers alike.
